Volunteer Release of Liability

Introduction
Outreach Community Ministries is committed to conducting all of its programs and activities in a safe manner and holds the safety of its participants and volunteers in high regard. However, volunteers participating in any program or activity must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in activities. OCM continually strives to reduce such risks and insists that all volunteers and participants follow safety rules and instructions that are designed to protect everyone’s safety.

Warning of Risks in Programs and Activities
OCM has many programs and activities that engage the physical, mental, and emotional resources of the volunteers and participants. Despite careful and proper preparation and instruction, there is still the risk of injury. Volunteers must understand that certain risks, dangers, and injuries may exist in the programs and activities. In this regard, it must be recognized that it is impossible for Outreach Community Ministries, Inc. to guarantee absolute safety.

Pledge of Responsibility We ask each volunteer to sign below. By signing this statement, you are agreeing to assume all responsibility for self and belongings and to not hold Outreach Community Ministries, Inc. liable for any injury, damage or loss that may be sustained while participating in volunteer activities or programs.
