The 2017 OCC Spring Dinner, benefiting the Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream, was held on April 20 at the Sheraton Lisle in Warrenville. The event featured keynote speaker Chaplain Tim Blackmon, who challenged the audience to live out “Dangerous Hospitality.” OCC participant Chris Silva and his mother gave a compelling interview along with Monroe Middle School Vice Principal Bryan Buck, Jr. High Program Coordinator Chantel Gamboa and Bilingual Teacher Rebecca Thompson. The OCC hospitality team, comprised of OCC students, enjoyed greeting guests at their tables throughout dinner. After the program, guests enjoyed live music and dessert in the hotel’s enclosed Atrium.
