On December 12, 2014, nine volunteers from Benjamin Moore took on a painting project at Jubilee Village, in memory of Kathy Christensen, Outreach’s first volunteer director. Organized by Mary Law, Kathy’s sister, the group came armed with paint, supplies and generous hearts, and painted a one-bedroom apartment in one day. This is their second volunteer painting project at Jubilee Village.

“The young single mom who moved into that unit was absolutely delighted to have an apartment that looked sparkling new,” said Michelle de Muir, program director. “We are very grateful for the Benjamin Moore team who graciously gave up a day to give such an amazing gift to Jubilee Village.”

“Everyone was so happy to be a part of the project,” shared Mary, adding that they look forward to serving again.

Thank you to Benjamin Moore and the team for your gift to Jubilee Village.
