Because of its broad scope of programs and services, Outreach Community Ministries offers both undergraduate and graduate level internships for a wide variety of disciplines. An internship within one of Outreach’s divisions gives students a chance to put concepts and principles learned into practice. Outreach’s context gives interns exposure to students and families from a broad range of social, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds. Each opportunity also gives interns exposure to the overall workings of a faith-based, community service organization.
Outreach looks for interns who are currently enrolled in an academic program or other adults seeking to grow their skills or explore a new field. Outreach also looks for interns who demonstrate a sensitivity to the needs of low-income and diverse populations, are able to communicate professionally and are interested in serving in a faith-based organization.
When to Apply
Resumes for undergraduate-level internships are accepted on an ongoing basis. Resumes for graduate-level clinical internships are accepted between September 1 and December 1 for the following academic year.
