Role & Traits
The Front Desk requires volunteers who can answer phones, greet clients, do light office work and stay composed when multiple activities occur at the same time!
- Excellent phone skills and helpful attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Able to show compassion for clients who may be experiencing life difficulties
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills (not required, but very helpful)
A weekly commitment.
All volunteers are required to complete the OCM Application and Screening procedures. This includes:
- Complete the Volunteer Application, including three references
- Interview with the OCM Director of Volunteer Service
- Complete the fingerprinting and background check
