Role & Traits

The Front Desk requires volunteers who can answer phones, greet clients, do light office work and stay composed when multiple activities occur at the same time!

  • Excellent phone skills and helpful attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Able to show compassion for clients who may be experiencing life difficulties
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills (not required, but very helpful)


A weekly commitment.

Getting Started

All volunteers are required to complete the OCM Application and Screening procedures. This includes:

  • Complete the Volunteer Application, including three references
  • Interview with the OCM Director of Volunteer Service
  • Complete the fingerprinting and background check
