Please note: We always appreciate it when our Donation Partners keep us in mind and share our mission. When we turn down donations we do so with regret and we hope you understand. We cannot accept donations that we know we cannot sell in the store. We also do not accept upholstered furniture from a home of a smoker and those covered in pet hair or pet odor. The cost and time to dispose of these items that we can’t resell is substantial.

It is highly recommended that donation partners call the Warehouse Team ahead of time to pre-screen and schedule a drop-off donation. Our Warehouse Team has the responsibility to turn down donations of furniture and decor that are on our “Do Not Accept List” and any other items that are not of the quality or kind that will re-sell in our store.

Please note: There might be times when you see something in our Acceptable List that we temporarily aren’t taking due to the current high volume in the store. We ask for your understanding.

Please note: We have started our Donation Drop-Off Service at the Lombard Store. We require Donation Partners to call the Lombard Warehouse Manager ahead of time to pre-screen and schedule a Drop-Off donation by appointment only. Our Warehouse Team has the responsibility to turn down donations of furniture and decor that are on our “Do Not Accept List” and that are not of the quality or kind that we can readily re-sell. If you arrive at our store with a furniture donation without our pre-screen/appointment process, the risk is high that we will not be able to accept your donation.

Unique donations or opportunities? Do you have a unique donation you want us to consider? A recent purchase or high-value item that is on our “Do Not Accept” list? A valuable piece that needs minor repairs? Maybe a business-to-business opportunity you want us to explore? Call our Donation Hotline to consult or use our Online Donation Form and provide details in the comment box.

Car Donations

We also receive and repair donated vehicles thru our sister ministry Jubilee Cars, which has its “home” at Jubilee Furniture in Carol Stream. For more information, you can link online with our car donation ministry, Jubilee Cars.

Volunteers

Volunteers: We Need Your Time and Talents!

The Volunteer Drive for Jubilee Lombard is Officially Underway!

Volunteers make a difference at Jubilee! When you volunteer at Jubilee (Lombard), you help Outreach provide services that support children, teens, families, and seniors in our community at the Outreach York in Lombard. You also support student scholarships at Timothy Christian Schools.

We need your time and talents to launch Jubilee (Lombard)! We need volunteer help at the Furniture Department, Jubilee (Lombard). As soon as we add 100 volunteers to sort and arrange clothing and household goods the Traditional Resale Department will be ready for its Opening Day in October.

Scripture tells us that we have been given unique gifts and talents so we can serve one another. Your gifts and talents have a home at Jubilee!

  • As a Team Leader. Find a co-leader and build a team to fulfill a weekly volunteer shift at Jubilee Lombard. We need ten (10) team leaders to help us launch Jubilee – Lombard.

  • Furniture Design and Set-up Team – if this is your talent we have a spot for you!
  • In the Warehouse: helping the Warehouse Manager move furniture onto and off of the floor. We have eight (8) 4 hr. shifts – each shift requires 2-3 volunteers.
  • On the Truck on Mondays and Saturdays – furniture deliveries and special pick-ups. We need four (4) teams – two for Mondays and two for Saturdays – 2 Volunteer Teams.
  • In our Workshops: Furniture Repairman; Chalk Painters; Lamp
  • Reconditioners – if these are your talents we have a home for you. (Workshops are located at Jubilee – Carol Stream).
  • As a Sorter: Sort and price traditional resale items such as clothing and household goods. We have ten (10) 4 hr. sorting shifts. Each shift requires a team of six sorters.
  • On the Floor Arrangement Team: The Traditional Resale Department requires daily floor arrangement. We need 15 team members serving weekly for a 4–6 hour shift to “stock the floor.”
